Chris Guempel
Supervisor

A native of Kirkland, Chris adopts a “can do” attitude toward every project and is a favorite of McAdams Builders customers. A skilled carpenter, his fine workmanship and attention to detail were honored by the Master Builders Association with a REX Award in 2008. Managing complex schedules with a smile while keeping clients informed are just part of his normal routine. Chris delights in making everyone he meets have a better day.

When not at work, Chris’ community involvement includes Kirkland Little League and the Lake Washington School District. Chris enjoys camping, boating and skiing with his family whenever he gets the opportunity.

Dale Sahr
Production Manager

Dale Sahr joined McAdams Builders in 1993 to work in the field on a temporary assignment. He soon came into the office, growing with the company as production assistant, then estimator and purchasing agent. Dale brings his business education and broad construction experience to his current assignment as production manager. Clients often comment on Dale’s attention to detail and how much they appreciate his weekly jobsite scheduling updates during construction.

Thanks to Dale’s Production department we have been an official Built Green member since 2008. In the past we always built with environmentally friendly principles in mind, but now we are official. Vacationing in the San Juans and playing the drums in the band “Try the Veal” keep Dale busy outside of work.

“I look forward to my weekly production meetings with our clients where they know they can ask me anything and I will make it happen. It’s all recorded in the jobsite notebook for accountability.”

Mark Jensen
Remodeling Sales

Mark Jensen was in the remodeling business for over 15 years as a carpenter and project manager before joining McAdams Builders in 2004. He has the sort of construction knowledge that can only come from working in the field, combined with the vision to help clients plan fabulous improvements to the homes they love. Clients appreciate Mark as a great communicator who understands their needs and will follow through on all of the details.

Following one of his passions, Mark recently coordinated 3 Lifestage Design Projects for clients with special needs, including one featured in the 2007 Remodeled Homes Tour. When not helping clients Mark enjoys car trips in his truck, “Big Red”, spending time outdoors, and shopping at Cabela’s.

“I enjoy helping you through the remodeling process. My goal is to make your experience worry free with a result that is beyond your expectations.”

Lynn Goodwin
Selections Coordinator

Lynn Goodwin will probably be the first voice you hear when you call, as she serves double duty as Office Manager and Selections Coordinator. Since 2006 her natural organizational skills and math degree from the UW have kept our our office running with cheerful efficiency. With 14 years of experience in interior finish selections and a keen eye for space and color Lynn guides clients to make selecting the parts for their remodel an easy, positive experience.

Outside of work Lynn enjoys sailing in the Puget Sound, spending time with her granddaughters, and trying out new recipes.

“I enjoy making the “shopping” experience for you fun, timely, and easy. Keeping track of the details of your project, keeping in contact, and helping you enjoy your remodel are things I never grow tired of.”
